When it gets cold outside I feel more pressure to mix it up. So off to the library we went. First we tried to Free Library Central Branch. I don’t know about you but when you have little kids a broken PPA kiosk is the worst. You are basically dead in the water. So that started our trip. The Central Branch has large children’s section in the basement and if you go park on the 20th Street for direct and easy access to the children’s section. We grabbed movies and a stack of books and although the women checking me out was about as unengaging and unpleasent as it gets we left alive and with out a bill for damage so I consider it a successful trip!
But…with that said we enjoyed our trip to the Fishtown Library much more. Small, friendly and free parking…they had me at hello. Again we grabbed a stack of books…might I recommend Harry Hungry and Mary had a Little Lamp…and some movies. Door to door the whole trip was 30 minutes.
