2nd Annual Seaport Parade of Lights

Independence Seaport Museum

Saturday, December 17

You will have to forgive me b/c I heard about this on the radio and with all the holiday madness going on I just pulled the information from the Seaports website word for word. So my usual hilarious spin on things is not in this posting.

Come early, as Santa will be making a visit to the Museum from 3:30 -4:30 before he heads down to the dock to lead the 2nd annual lighted boat parade from the historic 1902 Tugboat, Jupiter.

Museum visitors will enjoy free refreshments and holiday music sung by a choir and kids can get their photo taken with Santa, all included with Museum admission. The Parade of Lights kicks off at 5:00 pm outside on the Delaware River right in front of the Museum, and can be viewed from anywhere along Penn’s Landing. Museum visitors are invited to step out on the 2nd floor balcony and enjoy an amazing view of the parade below.
