This is part 2 of my mini series on what sites you must be on when it comes to buying on-line. Yesterday we covered Hip2Save.com and today we are going to talk about Retailmenot.com…
I once read that if you see a PROMO CODE box when you check out during your on-line shopping that there must be a promo code out there for the brand somewhere. That was before on-line shopping was huge but the the lesson is still valid. Before I buy anything I always go to Retailmenot.com and type in the brands name. Retailmenot.com collects all the promo codes in the webisphere and let’s me pick which one I want to use. From free shipping to discounts they have it.
I caution you that big name retailers like GAP corp, Amazon and Target do not have to give you deals or feel they are already giving you a good deal so often under these retailers you will see the same ones you see on the site like spend $50 get free shipping.
But other times you can score a little something extra. For example I ordered some stuff from Sephora and got to pick from a list of promo codes of high end sampler packs. I went with a Bare Essential pack and I got a full size foundation, kabuki brush and primer for free. Score!
No matter what I am buying I NEVER check out without checking Retailmenot.com stash of prom codes. I bought fabric last month on Fabric.com and found a promo code that was $20 off an order of $50 or more. I scored $20 worth of free fabric and free shipping which was huge. I also scored 1/2 ticket to the aquarium…Retailmenot.com…I never leave home without it.
