This one is for my Weekend Warriors and anyone else looking for a great activity …oh and it is FREE. If you have not checked out the Lowe’s Build and Grow Clinics then you might want to add it to the list. Last year my crew did a boys trip to the Fire Truck Build and Grow Clinic. The Fire Truck is a huge symbol of pride for Henry since he made it himself and now that Ollie is old enough it is the root of many and spat in the playroom. So I am actually excited that the Fire Truck Build and Grow Clinic is here again!

Fire Truck
Saturday, September 22 (10:00 AM)
Safety Month starts in October! Get it started right by building this cool Fire Truck at your local Lowe’s!
Here is how it works. They ask that you pre-register but you can just show up and grab a kit. This is not a structured class so you don’t really have to worry that your little one might not be able to follow along. Basically if you are okay with your little one wielding a kid sized hammer then you are good to go. They give you a pre-packaged kit, an apron and all the tools you will need and you get to find a spot in the store with your little one to put it together. Simple, free and a really great way to spend a Saturday morning if you are looking for something. The Build and Grow Clinics are at Lowe’s all over the area. Just visit the Build and Grow Clinic site, type in your zip code and find the one closest to you.

Ghoul Bus
