Date Night Playgroup

I have talked about By My Side Playgroup at the Atonement Church in Fishtown before. The group has saved me on a few night that my husband was working late and I was exhusted and out of tricks for my incredibly active boys at two very different stages.
Now By My Side Playgroup has put together a monthly date night that provides affordable child care in a playgroup atmosphere while you go out to dinner (or stay in….shhhh no one has to know). The Date Night Playgroup will take place the first Friday of every month and will be from 5:30 to 8:00pm. At first I thought that was early but to be honestly Fishtown and NoLibs resturants are so “in” these days that you need to go early to get a table.
If you have not been to By My Side Playgroup I suggest you go check it out before you take them up on Date Night Playgroup. That way your little one will be more comfortable when you drop them off. I also want you to know that I love By My Side Playgroup but it is not fancy and not for fussy, competitive parents. The playgroup is located in a giant room in a church that could use a little work. The toys are preloved, there are a ton of them and the kids love it. The enviroment is nuturing, loving and incredibly friendly. There are very few places you can walk in these days and make friends in under 5 minutes.
Kids are welcome to come in their PJ’s and make it a pajama party and they will serve a kid friendly dinner like mac-n-cheese or I am sure you can pack your own. Payment is requested at drop off time. Space will be limited to 15 kids and children must be 18 months or older. Date Night Playgroup kicks off on Friday September 7th.
Cost: The cost will be $15 for one child, $20 for two and $25 for three.
