Philadelphia is a great place to raise kids. My boys and I have put more miles on our bugaboo stroller exploring this city then we have in our car. I started this website to help other parents navigate the city and plan a great trip or find awesome activities for their kids. Sometime you will see a ton of post and sometime you won’t see one for a while when life gets extra busy. The information on all the best kids places is always on this site for you to find out about.

Everything on here is my unbiased thoughts about the places based on my experience with two busy boys. You may read a post and disagree with my review. I ask that you please write a comment so that I can share your opinion with other parents. That way people can use the site to make the best choices for their family.

If you have questions about the city or a specific place please just email me. Every time I visit a new city with my kids my first thought is geez I wish I  knew another mom here so I could find out all the very best places to take my kids. Well when it comes to Philly I hope you use this site and me as a resource.

SaltyOllie” keeping kids happy in Cape May will launch this April. This is literally the little brother site to HipsterHenry and we are excited to share all our “beach people” wisdom…or just where to get a pizza b/c you entire crew is over tired from the beach and you are about to lose it

and Yes, I am type A and run a trip to Sesame Place like a recon mission. But everyone is none the wiser and has a great time :)

You will also see plenty of spelling mistakes because I write late at night and I am exhausted. I am working on it.

Best.

Loved the post on Freedom Park- we plan to go this afternoon. Have you been to the Creative Clubhouse in Havertown? We are recent transplants and
happened upon this great space. My two year old loved the drop in open art studio (unlimited visits available with membership). They have all sorts of stuff going on here. I went back for a Friday night adult craft class- for $20 I got to have a fun, creative night out plus free dinner & wine! They have free parent seminars coming up and a moms vendor night. Check them out!

  2. I have been to Creative ClubHouse it is a hike for us but Ollie really liked it.
