A pedicure is a huge…huge treat for me. I have been all over the city and I have my favorite spots and there is one that is really starting to grow on me, Genesis Nails in 
Northern Liberties. I would like to compare my expereince to the one that Dorothy had in the Wizard of Oz when she and her posse arrived at the Emerald City and got all primped.
I kind of think of the experience as a pedicure with a side of massage. Snuggle up in the giant massage chair (*massage #1)…with your favorite magazines, while your tootsies get a make over.
Oh I am sorry what is that…why it is a warm compress that someone is putting around my neck. This is the longest pedicure I have ever had because from the knees down you get the works (*massage #2)…and that is standard.
When you make your way over to the drying station with your expertly wrapped heels…I have no idea what they are wrapped in but it feels great… don’t think your pedi-cation is coming to an end…because it is time for the grand finale. A strong gentleman comes over and asks if you would like a neck and shoulder massage (*massage #3-6). Two-words…strong hands. Three words..very strong hands. Now let’s see if my husband reads my blog. $30 before tip. Credit Cards accepted.
