With my “new to me” Revolution Bob Stroller I hit Kelly Drive with my 9 month old running partner. The plan was to take in the Thursday music show at Ali’s Wagon afterwards but when we got there it wasn’t happening.
Fortunately the Fairmount Running Company located right next door salvaged my trip. I just popped off the trail and have not bought a new pair of sneakers since… well, I got preggs with Ollie. I am used to staring at the City Sports wall-o-shoes and walking out with nothing FRC is small and seems to only stock what you need. Karl was on staff today and he checked the bottom of my shoe to see my running habits, had me walk to check in instep, pointed to all the shoes that would be good for me and there were a ton of great things to chose from and BAM I was done!
Or so I thought…My beloved 8 year old Gold Nike Goddess sneaks will never be retired but my feet are killing me. I found the largest and most awesome assortment of Nike run-abouts or as they are officially known: Nike Free Run +2. Karl said they feel like slippers and he was not kidding. I won’t wear Pajama Jeans but I will most certianinly wear and extreamly loud paid of slipper sneakers!
If you are in need they have a ton of colors, they are not afraid of kids and the only delay you will have is in picking a color. This morning was supposed to cost me $5 instead it ended up costing a lot more but I am okay with it and I chose the pink ones.
