Bounce U is the go to spot for most families in the area. I think it is because it is a really popular birthday spot. We had Ollie’s 3rd birthday there b/c he loves it and honestly is was the most affordable.

For about a year I did stop going and diverted the troops to Monkey Town and Jump!Zone because the inflatables at Bounce U were too big or too hard for the boys. They could only do a few of them which caused problems. But recently I was back there for a birthday party and they have totally updated the space.

IMG_8602Gone are the inflatables that had duct tape keeping them together. Gone are the really, really hard ones that the boys could not do (there is one in the first room that is more for the big kids). Gone are the air guns that never really worked in the first place and gone are the listless teenager staff that seemed like they could fall asleep at any moment. Now there are great new obstacle courses. The one that everyone seems to love is the Flag Mountain (pictured above). The goal is to run up the slippery hill and attach the flags to the different levels of velcro. EVERY time I am at Bounce U it is the Dad that are so fun to watch with this one. In between their own competitive attempts they will toss their kid up and then scoot them out-of-the-way so they can try again. For any Dads that are dreading the next kid party you might want to rethink your position if the part is at Bounce U and start stretching.

I was so happy with all the improvements that we had Ollie’s 3rd birthday party there. The party planner was a type- A teen that was sweet and took her job seriously. All the set up for Henry’s party was easy and b/c they have everything you need on site they can make last-minute additions…you know for your friends that text you the night before that they will be there.

TIPS:

MAKE SURE YOUR BRING SOCKS! (if they have grips on the bottom that helps). If you are having a party pack an extra pair. Someone always forgets.

Pack some water…you need to hydrate with all that bouncing.

There is a cubby to put your shoes stuff

Cut your check-in time in half by bringing an already signed waiver. PRINTABLE RELEASE AND WAIVER

location

I think the location is a little confusing the first time you go. See directions below. It is the U-Turn that can be a drag because of the traffic. Make sure when you are going down RT 70 you stay in the left lane if you are coming from Philly.

From the Ben Franklin Bridge:

  • 4 miles east on Rt 70 from the Ben Franklin Bridge.
  • Take the first u-turn after Haddonfield Rd and make first right on Warren Ave.
  • Bounce U is behind Bassett Furniture

  1. I just spent an hour at Bounce U and saw a whole other side to my 2 year old! The look of intensity on her precious little face as she bounced through the castle chasing balls was hysterical! I most definitely have a future athlete on my hands! She can’t stop talking about it! “I want to bounce Mommy”. Thanks for another great idea!

I had the same experience with Henry’s first time. He got annihilated and loved every minute of it. I went home and bought a bouncy castle that day on-line. I am so glad you had a good time.
